I’ve personally tuned in many times, often while washing the dishes or cooking dinner, and I love how easy it is to join the conversation.
It’s like inviting a bunch of friends over for Bible study and sharing the Word of God together. If you’re looking for a more real-time, interactive community, this is your golden ticket—and it’s super easy to get involved!

Final Thoughts
Overall, we give Salt 5 stars. The Salt Christian dating app offers multiple features for free, and while subscriptions may feel like a big commitment in today’s global economy, it’s fair to expect payment from a service that genuinely helps Christian singles maintain a positive mindset—rather than endlessly swiping on fellow followers of Christ.
Ark: A Christian Dating App
Ark: Christian Dating app — Is the new kid on the block! If you didn’t know? The official made their debut in February 2023, and unfortunately they weren’t offering anything as rich and robust as Salt – Christian Dating App. While we are comparing dating user experiences, this is not a competition.
My personal experience with Ark was a bumpy road. Originally I heard about them back in 2024 on the Heart of Dating podcast with Kait and JJ Tomlin. They both had a vested hand in helping Ark to develop their app and fine tune it to better serve the Christian singles community.
This involved a brand refresh and some moral-biblical standing being made more openly clear.
Ark is one of the few Christian dating apps that required me needing to verify I have a relationship with Jesus by holding up my bible for a facial recognition. Before you ask! I don’t know if this process involves Ai, but I suspect for facial recognition it will. That being said, every single Smartphone has AI built into it from the camera to the speaker (something to keep in mind)
How Does Matchmaking work?
It’s quite simple! Download the App on Google Play Store or Apple Store. Once you have downloaded and installed the Ark app? Start creating your profile. Upload bright and varied photos that tell someone who you are at first glance. As if you are telling a short story on an Instagram reel.
Setting up your profile is a simple process. Unlike Salt, Ark does things a little differently by offering you a larger number of free curated matches per day. However, if you want unlimited matches, you can easily become a subscribed member to access more features.
Every app is different. But one secret I can share with you is keywords. Pay attention to the words you use in your profile, as the algorithm will take a lot of your written information into consideration and matches you accordingly.
When I first started using Ark, this was a big part of why I wasn’t matching with the right people. Once I had uploaded better photos and clearly written out my profile bio, it enabled me to connect with more like-minded Christian singles.
Blind Speed Dating
If you are looking for an informal, safe way to attend a Speed Dating event from the comfort of wherever? Then blind Speed Dating is for you! It’s an informal text only speed dating event. Simply submit your interest within the app, choose your match preferences and show up on the event date.
On the day of the date of the event, singles are matched with a random person. The catch is you can only see their name, age and location. All profile photos are blurred out, and you can’t see their full profile. Singles then have 60 seconds to a minute to quickly establish a mutual connection. Once time is up! You can decide whether to officially match, or move on to the next potential match.
Final thoughts
Ark – Christian dating app is ultimately just not as well known. Which makes sense, it has only been around for one year. Compared to all the other apps or Christian dating sites which have been around forever.
While it’s the most popular or perfect app out there. It certainly has some great features that will help Christians singles to find the right match. — We give 3 stars.
Honourable Mention
Holy — Christian dating app
Holy – Christian dating app is our third option for Christian singles interested in making meaningful connections. However, if you are outside the United States? Sadly, you will not be able to download the app because it is locked to the US.
As a single, this frustrates me (but in a good way). Everything Holy stands for is wonderful! Holy is built by Christians for Christians
Many reviews on YouTube boast of a rich and wholesome experience. Sadly, without access to it myself? I can’t tell you whether it’s good or not. What I can say is the opinion is generally positive, a lot of personal friends and professional connections have confirmed that Holy is a great dating app.
If Salt of Ark dating apps aren’t working for you? Then give Holy a try.
Take a deep breath! — Here are two important things to keep in mind:
- Jesus loves you, and according to 1 John 4:4 He who is in you is greater. Trust your entire singleness and dating journey to Jesus, and keep taking small steps of faith.
- Don’t make snap judgements. Relax and take a moment to get curious about the other person across the table or on the other side of a dating app.
- Dating apps should be viewed as purely assistive tools in the process of making meaningful connections with other like-minded Christians who have a relationship with Jesus.
